Why did they stop making the Rohrbaugh Robar ?
« on: March 19, 2015, 11:13:47 PM »
That would have been my model of choice.

My R9 goes with me just about everywhere, short of the courthouse and my kid's schools, and the finish is just starting to show signs of wear.  When it needs to be refinished it will get NP3+ but it would have been my choice right off the bat if Rohrbaugh had still been offering it.

I talked to the Robar company and they told me that you can still send your Rohrbaugh in and they will do their thing on it. That would be as close as you can come. As far as why they stopped making it, "They" (Rohrbaugh) are now owned by Remington and no longer in production.
