Can't tell how thick they are.  Has anyone gotten these?

Have not seen them yet but it looks like a good option for future standard grips to come new on the R9.

Jack, I just installed them on my r9s and love them. Somehow they feel lighter than the G10 grips and they have more grip with the checkering.  I will compare the weight next time I take them off.  I got the black ones and they look great.

Sorry, I bought the Rohrbaugh grips not the hough.

Not sure what you are actually saying?

Did you buy the Hogue grips and they are lighter than the factory G10 grips?

Sorry Jack, let me start over, I bought the Aluminum Grips off the Rohrbaugh website, not the Houge G10.  They felt to be the same weight but I did not weigh them. Next time I take them off I will post the differance if any.

Ok, but I was asking about the Hogue grips in the link.

yeah I know that now, like I said in at the end of the first post. "Sorry I bought the Rohrbaugh grips not the Houge".

There's a thread on these grips in the regular pistol section.  It also took a right turn digression (in that case into a critique of the Hogue slip-on grip).

I'm interested, as well, but it doesn't look like anyone posting on this forum has tried them yet.

I may try them after the New Year (I was holding off a bit hoping that some other colors might be offered as Hogue says they're experimenting with such) and will post a review if I do.

The grips were on the special forces edition that I handled when I picked up my plain jane R9S.  They were a little grippier due to the checkering.  I plan on ordering a set of them for a backup set.

Another member just posted some photos which may help in evaluating the thickness of the Hogue grips:
