Will be a productive member soon.

Stop by and say hello.

Hi Dennis,

Welcome. I am sure if you get a pup they become very addictive. Have a whole lot of hardware in the gun safe collecting dust since I have had my pup. Seems like it is all I carry anymore so think I will have to get it a playmate.

45ACP I suspect you are right.

Although it's gonna be a tough run for the money to beat out the M&P.  ;) with 135 gr SGD for snubs.

Thanks for the warm welcome and yes, I admit high anxiety in anticipation of making a pup my own.

In the meanwhile I will have to live vicariously through your pictures and reports and rely on the M&P 340 and Kahr PM9 to keep me safe.

The money train is due in the station at the end of September and will be dropping off a load.  :P

Actually I'm semi-actively shopping (when free time allows) so if anyone gets wind of a less than MSRP R9s new or possibly pre-owned let me know.

DMA,

I have the S & W 340PD with the same CT laser grips and a 24/7 XS big dot tritium sight. I love it, great piece but it just doesn't fit in my pocket like my pup. I carried my 340PD for about 10 days while the pub took a trip back to Deerpark NY.

This HOT weather is perfect for the pup.

Too bad you are not in Ohio. Target World in Cincinnati has a used R9 like new for $825.00.

I have been trying to make up my mind between the used one and a new R9S they have of $1000.

If they sell the used one before I decide, that will make up my mind. Still considering one of the Elites though.
