Well, I screwed up. After cleaning my R9, I set aside all the cleaned parts when finished. I then decided to take the towel I was using and proceed to take it outside and give it a good shake. Yes, I don’t have a trigger pin anymore. Apparently I’m not very observant. I’ve had 5 other R9’s before this one and this is the first time I realized they are two separate parts. Every time cleaning or disassembling my past R9’s, I would just slide the trigger out and not once did they ever come apart. I’m pretty anal about cleaning my firearms and I cannot believe I never noticed this!
Anyway, I was hoping someone could help me out on where I could purchase this part. I’m assuming the pin has pretty specific dimensions. If not, is there any other firearm parts available that could substitute? Very embarrassing.
Thank you and I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and happy New Year!

Again, very embarrassing, but I’m lost without my functioning little buddy.

Have you tried calling Alex at Williams Gunsight in Michigan? They are doing the Rohrbaugh warranty work now. The number is 800 530-9028. They have the remaining parts in stock for repairs or replacement.

I hope Alex at Williams can help out. If not, I'll give a look through my machinist's tool box from the shop and see if I happen to have one laying around. I can't guarantee anything, but I'll give it a whirl for you.

Did you ever find or get the trigger pin?

I apologize for not responding in a timely manner. Had to put it on the back burner Do to holidays and health issues. Unfortunately I have not been able to track one down. Just started thinking about it again. Have a doctors apt next week and I’ve been optimistic about it and it’s got me back in better spirits. I’m going to keep trying. I was going to send in another pistol this spring for restoration and was going to see if he could make me one while he serviced my other project. I’ll keep ya posted! Thank you for checking in!

Feel better James.
I'll look through my machinist's tool box and other areas to see if I have any of those around. At this point, some six years after the sale to Remington, parts are getting tough to find in excess anymore. I don't expect to find any, but I have found things in the past if I keep looking through the old stuff I still have here at my home. I'll let you know over the weekend sometime. I have a full plate this weekend, but I'll give it a shot for you.

James,
I found two used barrel pins. One for you and one for me. Send me your address and I'll mail it to you.

Ah nuts. . . . . . You need a trigger pin, not the barrel pin! Ugh...….
I'll go give a look now for those. They would be easier to possibly have around.
I'll get back to you A.S.A.P.
