There would have been a Farmingdale frenzy, for sure!

Now, find that Farmingdale!   :D    :D

Missed a Farmingdale on GlockTalk forum about 2 months ago. Sold for 1025 with 2 holsters. Serial was RXX and it looks like he originally bought it from someone on this forum http://glocktalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1135790&highlight=rohrbaugh+sale

There is a link to the original thread he bought from in June '09 on the link I just posted.

There are deals out there. That was one reason it was so amazing last month someone spent over $2200.00 on a Farmy. Average for used R9 is about 900-1000 unless there is something really special about it.

Yep.  That one sold for $2501.97 and was number 133, no R prefix, so it was special.

Here's a link to the original owner of the above gun who sold it for $1000.  Richard's information of this owner tells us he has since passed away.

CCW.  I remember this, but didn't have anything I wanted to trade and want an early Farmingdale with no R prefix and unfired, except factory.  I know this is wishing for the moon, so to speak, but I know it's out there.

Could it be a Robar is on the horizon?   :)

Very well could be :) Honestly though, the price of the Robar model is hard for me to justify if I can almost buy two R9s for the same price. Now if I find one for around 1400 then my mind might change   ;D

I think you can have a regular R9s coated with NP3 finish, as John did, and have about that in it.   :)

I will probably Robar if the original finish gets scratched up... Costs around 300 right? The Robar finish does look nice though.

I think John's was just a shade more than that; he got it done while they were running a special.
