Lou Ellen - Mrs Hedley - dropped me a line to say that RJ has been in some bother.
An olive sized kidney stone it seems - which has now been shattered but - looks like a few days on catheter necessary to get rid of fragments.
Let's send some pos' thoughts and/or prayers to our friend - and hope that all will soon be well again. I can only imagine the pain he may have had when that thing went into peak mode.
Miss ya RJ - and hope to see you in here again soon. Take care. :)

Ouch...
All the best RJ!

got any pictures of the stones...?...TW
---------------------------------
No, not of the stone, but I do have one of me laying flat on my back, legs up in stirrups, in a Full Monty type position. The young lady doing the Catheter withdrawal procedure wasn't impressed, so I really have doubts as to the photo's value.

don't take it for granite...
When I had my stone, I had no idea what it was and thought I
was dying ("...this is the big one, Elizabeth!") and was immediately
diagnosed by the ER nurse, who'd seen it all.
I passed it naturally (naturally;^), and keep it in a bomb-proof
underground storage chamber in Nevada;^) It resembles a Nazi Torture Ball of Death.
You folks remember an olde-time weapon called a Mace? It's a big ball with spikes coming out of it in all directions and attached to a chain. The only difference between my stone and those maces were they haven't passed through my urinary tract;^) And mine didn't have a chain;^)
So, Calvin, you ask, "Where's the Obligatory Gun Content?" Right here.
I had my second R9S delivered yesterday, and had the distinct and very heady experience of having TWO R9S in my pockets! I use a CCW leather vest and had one in both pockets. Imagine a back up gun to my back up gun;^)
Another subject: someone mentioned CCW cargo shorts for summertime
wear. Can you tell us again where to obtain them?
TIA!
Calvin

Calvin - my shorts were from Cabellas ... some sorta name like ''hiking'' or similar. Main ID factor is, they have large (capacious) patch pockets at each side, on top of each then is a small pocket. Gun goes in big one and outer does for lose change etc. Normal back pockets. Got mine in denim and have long pants of same style but in Khaki.
I'd hope they are still available - and a search may be useful.
Only downside for me was, belt loops are way too wide and so do not leave enough exposed belt for my ''accoutriments'' like leatherman, E1e and if I wanted, an OWB rig. Actually - I lie - I can get a rig on but - it's just less flexible for positional options!
This renal calculus deal - gives a whole new meaning to ''getting stoned''!!! ::) :P

>>Dude... I was a roadie for the Stones back in the '60s...right there in my basement appartment. Huh/say what...??
Calvin...I'm still not seeing any pictures. I wanna see pictures of these fabled birthing-type stones. I don't wanna HAVE them...just to see pics...!...see......?...TW<<

According to our daughter, who should know whereof she speaks on both accounts, the pain of having a baby pales by comparison with the pain of having a kidney stone.
