Title: S333 Thunderstruck

Here is an interesting self defense alternative; however, there is a caveat about issues with certain ammo. Rimfire pistols can be quite ammo sensitive.

They have about a 20 pound trigger pull I have heard.  Double action pull on revolvers can be tough, and then double it.

If you notice, it has a two finger trigger.  The one guy I know who bought one says he needs three fingers.

Notwithstanding the reported 20# trigger pull I consider this to be a novelty gun. Personally, I don't feel adequately armed for EDC with anything less than a reliable 9mm.

So, something like this?

(I've seen a number of these pistols in gun stores.  Never had the urge to pick on up.)

No, nothing like that, either. I saw that ad in the same "American Handgunner" magazine that you did.

You'd definitely have to work on your reload drills if you have a single shot. I can't think of a tactical situation where one shot would be a comfortable number.
