I am very sad to convey that Stephen Camp died at age 59. Many of us have benefited from his extensive research and writings about pistols and ballistics.

Stephen Camp will be missed greatly; such a contributor to the gun world; very sad indeed.

That is sad news indeed.  Though I did not always agree with his assessment of some products, his approach was always straightforward and sensible.  Prayers for his family.
