UBG Holsters - any experience w/Becker design?
« on: July 05, 2010, 09:53:28 AM »
Made the decision to acquire an R9 very soon and now researching holsters.

For the IWB carry options noted UBG Holsters from whom I purchased a Canute design IWB for my HK P7.

What I find intriguing about the Becker IWB design is the offset clip which will reduce it's profile of course.  Clip is also a tuckable design and finally allows either appendix and/or hip carry.  A couple of carry options.  Wondering if anyone has any experience with the UBG - Becker and an R9?

For the pocket carry noted K&D Holsters and their Pocket Defender 2-in-1.  This is a convertible design for choice of back or front pocket carry.  Another with a couple carry options.  Again curious if there are any here with experience with this K&D - Pocket Defender 2-in-1?

thanks

Michael.  Welcome to the Forum.  Good decision to acquire the R9.  Don't have any experience with the two holsters you mentioned but do have and recommend the following:

Again, welcome, and post often.

Below is pictured a new pocket holster from MECO. This holster design has a split flap allowing for your hand to get a good purchase on the grip of the firearm. While the whole enchilada is residing in your pocket, that clever split flap disguises the outline of your favorite pocket pistol. Great design.
