-18 ! :o Sheesh - I should be sweating then whilst still in positive double digits! ;D

Night gets close to zero but - guess i shouldn't grumble too much.  January nearly gone - February to ride out - then hopefully gradual improvement.

Days are longer at least - but miss having my bike out!

Wife got her CCW at last - gotta get her to range for some practice once a shade warmer.

Snow was VERY crunchy this morning (go to work at 3:30AM) and the nostrils were VERY "clingy"  ;)

Heck - forget the nostrils - I'd be more concerned about ''other bits'' LOL ;D

''Global Warming''?? .... this time of year it's more like the new ice age!

TW - Haha ... actually I'd be happy for her to carry R9 but - not practical really.  She has shot about every platform I have, which covers quite a bit of ground - but does find large semi's a bit tricky to operate.  Much of that is the hard work regarding springs and their strength vs her hand strength.

The R9 would be a bit less hard work of course than say Bersa or Mak, in that respect ... but then we have the recoil factor ... probably not ideal for her... I think she'd fire it ''shy'' and anticipate and flinch.

Her house gun is a 4" Taurus 66 ... which she shoots incredibly well - with just 38Spl.  I am thinking she will probably do best for carry with my dear ol' M85 snub.  However, once we get to range soon I will check her out on many things again.  She has to feel happy with and confident in whatever she does carry.

That minus temp stuff gets old fast. Last week it was in the 70's and 60's. Colder now in the 40's and 50's. But, next week it will be back in the 60's. Oh well.  Tom

What a difference even a day makes!  let alone a full week.

We have some snow still but each day recently has had some sun and so the melt has been steady.  Daytime temps mid 40's or even better.  Friday - tho pretty cold - rode bike over to shop to leave it for its service and new tire ... gives them plenty of time while slack ... and means I just need to pick a dry day in coupla weeks to get it back.  then, all set for spring! :)

Punxatawny Phil saw his shadow on Wednesday - so that means 6 weeks more winter - so the saying goes!  Old tradition - with no grounds for fact IMO but - it's still good to see days longer.
