That thread goes in a lot of different directions...

Just to re-cap -- I think its a great magazine.  Of course, I do write for them, so I may be biased.

Here, in a nutshell, is what I like about them.  It is a grass-roots type effort (not a huge media conglomerate) run by very nice people who believe in their cause.  The focus of the magazine is different than anything else out there and the editor, Tim Schmidt, is very diligent in protecting the mission.  The writers are not the same old recycled guys you see in other magazines -- but bring a lot of experience and perspective.

Give it a try -- I think you will like it.

Subscriber here from day one - I applaud Tim Schmidt for his efforts and the mag' just goes from good to better.

I am very hopeful you folks might just see me contributing eventually.  Be good to join the ranks of the ''elite'' LOL! :P
