>>I am 51...which is young to my Dad's generation but old to my kids. Don't know what that means here...
I too have given up some fine firearms over the years. No regrets, as I was doing what needed to be done to care for my family. However, some of those guns were very special to me...like my Father's General Officer's Colt .32 and his Colt Woodsman Match Pistol...had the Elephand Ear Grips and was the 84th off the production line...both guns in the boxes, with papers. These were my Dad's favorite guns, but I know he would have understood and supported me in the decisions to sell given the circumstances (had been forced out of my job due to work related injury and hadn't had a pay check in four months).
Today I own two small businesses and am in the unique position to be buying not one, but two R9s (wife only knows about one though...shhhhh)...TW<<
