I picked up both mag extensions from the Post Office yesterday and they are beautiful!  The craftsmanship leaves nothing to be desired. I'm looking forward to attaching them this weekend when and if time permits.  Bob has been great throughout the transaction and I recommend him as a source if you need mag extensions.

Title: Re: WTS: Magizene Extensions - straight or hooked snubbie
Post by: bamboobob on January 15, 2014, 05:44:13 PM
Update:  Some hooked ones left, possible others.

p.s.

I strongly urge people to use a bag or towel when removing a mag. floor plate or extension.
( unless you are in a empty room !!)

To release floor plate push in bump through hole in bottom of mag, slide off to front ( do in clear bag, parts may shoot out ) Reverse to put new one on.  Use bag, if you loose small inner part, they can not be bought. VERY carefully!  MAKE  sure it is LOCKED  in place, may need tapping to set inner plate.
( My springs only go in one way. )

I am now basically sold out (two pairs sold pending funds- do not expect any different)
May help Drizden with some of mine out of archives or odds and ends.
May make some more, We have not decided yet. (leaning toward straight or both)
Have not broken even $ wise  (not counting tools or time) but have some for me.
Hand finishing and talking to people is fun, other wise this was a huge lot of time and PIA.
I have some machined blocks that can be shaped, may customize these or others.
May list individual ones in future
Worst is over, If we do more will not be so bad.
Will still be ckecking/on forum but not all the time.

Thanks again all for interest

Bob

PS   any suggestions for anodizing
(I may some day try home "spooge anodizing" with variable power supply,
possible draino and soda pop or ???)

Hi Josh,

Currently sold out of the extensions, slowly  considering multiple options.

check threads under classifieds and accessories for pics

If you need  O  rings / screws check under classifieds for them from Yankee2500, they are very popular here.
