« on: November 24, 2016, 03:37:52 PM »
For sale is my Rohrbaugh R9 Stealth Elite with grips made by Hogue "The Executive Grip Set".  I am the original owner and it has about 50 rounds down the barrel.  Included are 4 takedown tools, 1 extra set of grips, 1 Hedley Pocket Holster and Meco Mag Holder, 3 sets of springs, original box with lock and 9mm test rounds, 3 mags with hooked extensions and original baseplates, 1 straight mag extension.  The gun is in excellent condition and has been a safe queen for the last 3 years.  Asking $1800 for the package.  I will ship from my FFL to your FFL.  Please PM on the forum or email s315pv@gmail.com for any questions.  Thanks.

Very nice clean and complete example of an R9 you have there for sale. That model is "The Stealth Elite". The side of the slides were done by hand on flat granite with different grades of sandpaper and oils. Those grip panels were made for us by Hogue as "The Executive Grip Set". Always liked those. Nice elegant design.

Good Luck with your sale!

Thank you very much for the info.  I updated my listing.  I love the gun, excellent piece of engineering.  I enjoyed owning it.

Those "Chop Sticks" were originally made by a fellow in Florida. . . R.J. Hedley, who also made pocket holsters. He sadly passed away a number of years ago but not before I got to go to Florida to his home to meet him, his wife and son. Nice people. The other tools. . . . I have no idea.

The PVC implements that were made to assist in removing the take down pin were made by Steve Bedair from Gladewater, TX. I use that device every time I disassemble my R9.

Yes to both.  I got the PVC ones from Steve Bedair who may have passed also.  The Holster is made by RJ Hedley in addition to the 2 "chopstick" style takedown tools.

Damn cancer. I believe that got R.J. also. Recently got a lifelong friend of mine about a month ago. Prayers to all of those suffering from that dreaded disease.
