Hi from Ireland
« on: September 21, 2011, 03:50:45 AM »
We landed safely in Dublin about 5:15am and have a little time to kill before we can get into our accommodations so I thought I would check in.
   More later. :D

Hey Yankee.  While in Europe why don't you stop by Lothar-Walther and inquire about after market barrels for the R9.

I think this would be a well received addition to your product line.

John:

Take the first taxi in line, tell the driver to take you to The Old Jameson Distillery, Bow Street, Dublin 7, and tell them you want to sign up for the comparative whiskey tasting.

For continuing good fun I recommend a trip tomorrow to the Guinness Brewery for a pint or three.

Thanks guys. We are still recovering from leaving home for Charlotte at 6:30am for a 10:15 flight to JFK, killing a five hour layover there and departing at 5:45pm then arriving in Dublin at 5:15am. Made for a Looong day.
I had a friend on The High Road forum tell me the Bushmill's tour is worth the trip, don't know if the better half would share my enthusiasm. ;D

John,

 Guiness is good for you!

If you are so inclined, please have one for me. I wish I had seen your Del Fatti R9 holster! I also wish I had not gotten the string ray LWS holster!

John, Go to Bushmills, it's the oldest in the world. Your wife will love it and the area/town of Bushmills. Driving the coast from Bushmills to Belfast is grand. I've been there and ordered 2 cases of single malt that is only available in Ireland. They will ship it to you.  Tom

Tom,
I get the impression you prefer Irish Whiskey over Scotch Whisky.

Ireland is very nice, we just got back home from the Dublin City Center where we had a nice dinner and I had a pint of Guinness, the foam on top is like a milkshake. ;D

Excellent, John!  Continue to enjoy the vacation!  The Guinnes seems to be quite good!    :D

Tracker, it doesn't matter if it's whiskey or whisky as long as it's a single malt........short answer...pour it I'll drink it. ;D Tom
