Rohrbaugh SN 117 & 118
« on: August 02, 2012, 04:58:31 PM »
FYI:
Ace Sporting Goods has 2 PUPs for sale. I believe the are located in Western PA.
Phone # 800-660-5470
Option # 4
Shawn is the contact
They would like to sell them as a set and are asking $1,795.00 each.
Both are in unfired condition as per the previous owner.

Farmingdale R9s S#117 (no R perfix)
Sights
Silver slide
Gray anodized frame
Blue carbon fiber grips
Origional plastic case

Farmingdale R9 S# 118 (no R prefix)
No Sights
Silver slide
Gray anodized frame
Blue carbon fiber grips
Origional plastic case

They were not certain of what paper work is included or if it was the origional.

I have no relation to the seller and posted all the information I know about the two guns.

Adam,

Thanks for sharing the info, that is quite a set! Only problem with sets is you have to buy two expensive guns. Very tempting though hopefully someone on the form will snag them and post lots of pics.

I thought #118 sounded familiar so I checked my farmingdale register and it looks like it at one point belonged to a forum member (maybe he also owns a gun shop in western PA who knows). Anyway people may find this interesting. Says it was never fired though.

Would love to have a silver model in the kennel!!!
But what they are calling a "silver"slide is just the normal slide of the day-otherwise would not be grey anodized I believe!!

Nice Pups though, but it is hard to buy 2 at a time!! ;)

Brenden,

You are correct they are early two tone guns. I think all guns from 101-147 are exactly the same with the stainless slide and early grey (bronze, plum, etc) frame color. Here are pictures of 117 and 118 from Ace's:

Brenden,

You have been around the forum since the beginning, do you mind if I ask what is in your kennel?

Ryan,
Not what I really want, that's for sure!! ;)

Seriously though,I have loved these pocket rockets since I first heard about them and I bought my first one sight unseen.

Started with the early guns and they are my favorite!

I currently have a few Farmies, one of those is an early gray anodized, and another with a special non R serial #.
I also have a Deer Parker that resides in my pocket the majority of the time.

Of course blue CFs on the Farmies and black on the DP.

I may not be able to keep all of them in the future, but I sure do enjoy them for now.

Brenden sounds like you have some very special pups! What is it that you really want in your collection, or were you kidding? Anyway sounds like you have some really interesting guns. I'll send you a PM for more info as I would like to update the Farmingdale register. Thanks for sharing.
