K&D Holsters Has Left The House
« on: June 01, 2005, 02:59:37 PM »
At K&D Holsters, effective today, I will not be accepting any new orders for the R9/S.  All pending orders will be filled as requested.  All previous holsters made will still be covered by our warranty policy.  Thank you.

The first thing that pops into our heads is why?  :o Are you selling off your Rohrbaugh? :'(
The 1938 Nazi Weapons Law is alive and well in the United States, and is called, "The Gun Control act of 1968", and is enforced by the modern day gestapo, known as the BATF.

Justin2992:

I've only had a "dummy" version of the R9S, so really have only been an "honorary" member of the forum.  ;D

Circumstances have developed over a period of time that, I feel, necessitated this decision.  Thanks for asking though.

I'll still cruise through now and again to see what's happening on the Rohrbaugh block.  ;)

Actually, Chris_S, I was trying to be politically correct in my response to Justin2992.  :D

Okay - let's put it this way - it was a matter of principle.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.  ;D

A matter of principle?!?  You are ethically opposed to Rohrbaughs?  To Rohrbaugh users?  Huh?

 ???

Chris_S:

It appears that my responses/answers are not satisfying your inquisitiveness.   :P  Revealing/explaining my reasons beyond what's already been stated here serves no purpose, and as such, I will not.

Thanks for your interest, and thanks again to all for the opportunity to make the holsters for you.

No, Chris_S, I have no intention of running for political office.  Can I count on your vote if I do though? ;)  I thought that my response, "Revealing/explaining my reasons beyond what's already been stated here serves no purpose, and as such, I will not," was pretty straightforward.  Really don't know what else to add to that that will make it clearer.

Sharp, I'm just thinning the guns I make holsters for.  For example, I'm no longer making holsters for all of the CZ guns I had listed, except the RAMI.  There will be a few others that make the cut as well over the next week or so, with the list being updated at that time.

I think what people are wondering is: did something
tick you off or not? it doesn't matter what it is, nor
was it necessary for you to sign off on this forum.
