Shot the R9 for the first time today
« on: June 06, 2007, 11:05:14 PM »
Finally got around to the gun range.  Here are the results:
2 clips of 124 gr. GDHP w/ one force to feed
2 clips of 60 gr. RBCD w/ no flaws
7 clips of 115 gr. some name I've never heard of brand w/ no flaws

Overall I'm very happy with the gun.  I always seemed to shoot a little low, but I definitely think that was me trying to get use to the small sites.  It's a very snappy little gun, so I'm thinking about one of those slip on grips.

Howdy -  sounds like a pretty successful range session.  One feed problem out of 11 mags, could have been  caused by a number of things.  The gun sounds reliable.

Doesn't look like you need to do any tweeking yet.

For the price I hope to never have to tweek it.  It's pretty late in the serial numbers, so it came w/ the new mag springs installed.  That force to feed was in I think the second or 3rd mag I put through it, after that I had no other problems.
