Hey Jamie,

Sounds like you have a good menu fixed! :)

Yet again <sigh> I doubt this'll work for me.... tho had put that date on calendar a while ago in case.  Looks like we have visitors here - folks from Motherland who are gonna be staying over either side of that weekend - and they ain't shooters, well - real active ones, otherwise I'd have hauled 'em along!

So - unless their schedule changes I'll be limited from long trips away. <dammit!>

If things change I'll let you know.

There is a slight possibility of a Sept shoot. ;)

I spoke to Eric last week.  Sounds like the Rohrbaugh factory is working overtime and Eric won't be able to come down either.  He said he was working on putting some 60 guns together.

I'm itching for an R9 real bad.  I think I need one more R9 session and then I'll buy one.  I'll probable have to wait till spring to get one though.

Yep - the factory is busy alright!  Normal!!!

I am very much hoping to manage a meet with Eric soon when he travels back from Pitt - if it works out we should be able to grab a snack and a chat at the Bedford Interchange - sometime soon.  Here's hoping.

Speaking of Eric, I thought he was sort of "out of the picture" at the factory?  What's the scoop?  Believe Maria said he was mainly back at their other business, but is he sort of doing double time now?  It was always good dealing w/ him in the past.

Spectro - no - he is very much in there now - tho he did a coupla months ago on Karl's orders - ''get lost''!! ;D  A very much needed break that was.

He is much ''lower profile'' - maybe that is what you have heard, meaning that these days he is not on the end of a phone all the time as he used to be - simply because he is so tied up with getting guns out.  Last time I spoke to him I think he said he was helping get 80 guns out!!  QC is an ever bigger factor for them these days - not just good but max and Eric IIRC is very much on that. :)

Everybody needs a break now and then.

Hey, that reminds me...it's about time for a vacation!  Maybe I should wander on up to PA for the get together.  Haven't been there for about 4 years.  Sounds like a great time.  :)

When I called Eric, he had to wash his hands before he could take my call.

I think he gets  his hands dirty in the factory. LOL!!

Anyone from the Rohrbaugh forums coming out?

Mike Shovel from www.corbon.com has confirmed he will coming out, now.

I hope you can make it down for a few hours Eric!!

I need some people from the Rohrbaugh board!  We're going to suffer from R9 withdraw if nobody comes out.

It seems this time the R9 may not be too well represented.

I still can't get there - plans too fixed for the day and looking ahead, what with fixtures for bike runs, flying and some local shooting comp's etc - can't see I'll get ''out East'' this year.

I met Eric for a chat and a meal just over week ago and I rather doubt he can make it either IIRC.

Jamie, thank you for telling forum members about the shooting events in Pennsylvania.

I hope to go sometime.

The good members here would make great guests anywhere.  It was very gracious of you to publicize the information.

Jamie - in case you drop by here - ever so sorry not to make what I discover from the TFL write-up was a very successful day.  Anyone wanting to read the after action report it's HERE

Now it'll be darned gas prices that limit my long trips.  I have borrowed one of Jody Hudson's excellent pics so as to let folks here see the group photo.  Many faces I remember, and many I'd like to have met.

Sorry for not posting a write up for the Rohrbaugh forums, but none of yas showed up.  You didn't deserve one. :P

We broke the record with 56 people coming out.

I was invited to another gun club up in Easton, PA, to check out a new venue.  A few other gun clubs want me to host events there so we may be moving.

I doubt I'll have another event until next year.

I have lots of friends on the Rohrbaughforums, so I'll keep you all posted.
