Okay. Picked it up today. It has been carried and shot a good bit. Nothing awful other than the previous owner must have been a RemOil user as the springs, guide rod, and other spots were lacquered. I’ve got it soaking now and that will clean it up hopefully. If it functions properly it will have been a good buy.
I don’t care too much for the VZ grips so I’ve ordered some from Brian at designergrips. The gun had the original grips as well. Got two stainless mags and one blued magazine. The serial is in the 2700s, I wonder where that puts it in date range?
Is there a full disassembly video anywhere? This one may need additional cleaning that I can’t get to with just soaking.

I think there is an assembly video out there, but they are almost intuitively simple to disassemble/assemble; most problems seem to be getting the trigger spring in place correctly.

Would avoid firing pin disassembly and be careful to carefully label the various pins as they can be easily confused and switched.

I would add to add to that good advice by recommending that you do not remove the grips for routine cleaning and lubrication.
