You are very welcome, Erich.

I think the SMZ will be fun to use.  I sent my order in via US Mail, and received the holster very quickly.  It certainly is an inexpensive holster, and very well made.

I am also very impressed with the KL Null SMZ holster because it seems to be excellent for under the shirt wear, especially if the shirt is not transparent, and not too thin.

Again, the belt clip can be attached to the waist band of men's undershorts, or the horizontal component of a woman's bra, according to the fitting instructions.

There are so many times when a shirt is best tucked in.  This holster is perfect for those occasions.

I'll probably carry the R9S empty for a while, and get accustomed to a pistol pointing straight up, near the armpit.

Michigunner:

What type of material is the holster itself made out of?

I don't know what material was used,  but Mr. Null said this about the SMZ:

Utilizing the very latest in rugged, spaceage synthetics, the SMZ is a holster you can live with, day after day. Its synthetic and stitchless construction will neither attract nor retain moisture thus providing a safe, worry free environment for your weapon’s finish and more importantly, its function.

It's a polymer material (I think) and Ken can make them in white (as shown) or black.  I've never asked Ken when he changed over to polymer but I seem to recall that before Ken acquired the Seventrees line it used to be made of horse.  Actually maybe Ken would still make it that way but considering the drawing method, I'm guessin' that Ken felt this would be more durable.  It is a very neat holster that happens to be inexpensive.  As Sawbones indicated, a heavy gun would likey get uncomfortable after a few hours because of the very narrow straps.  But I thought it was awful neat for my Cobras and J-frames.  And when carried in matched pairs, even heavy guns like 4 inch N-frames can carry comfortably with a wide leather harness  ;D

I noticed that Matt has some holsters in stock for the R9S, even though he is working on orders from August of 2004.

They are looking mighty fine.

Buz,

I agree with you about carrying a small gun for comfort.

The chances of conflict are extremely remote, in my opinion.  We would most likely win the Powerball Lottery two times in a row, before using the pistol.

I would sing a different tune, if working in law enforcement or some such occupation.

For now, a small concealable powerful R9S should do the job just fine.

Brenden,

I noticed Matt refreshed the list of in-stock items.  It was too good to be true.  Looks like the R9 items are all gone.
