Also, is the  r380 a "carry a lot and shoot little"  gun like the r9? Thanks, Hank

It's a pocket pistol.  Why not carry it in the pocket using a holster that covers the trigger?  As for that quote, it was meant only to indicate that Rohrbaugh pistols are not intended for use as target pistols.  They are serious up-close-and-personal self-defense weapons.  Even so, some R9s have had thousands of rounds run through them.

I carry mine in my right front pocket in a holster made by RKBA.  I shoot the R380 fairly often, to maintain proficiency, and don't worry about wear and tear given the mild 380 round.

You can't go wrong with the R380.  Mine is a two tone and I would love to find one that is all black.

I use the Recluse holster and carry it in my right front pocket.  The nice part is that the Recluse holster allowes you to carry a spare mag!!

My Rohrbaugh 380 is shot often as well...due to my semi annual qualifications.  It's an awesome gun....I probably have at least 600 rounds through it already and it's only 1.5 years old.
