Disassembly/Reassembly Device
« on: May 24, 2011, 09:12:06 PM »
I have patented and produced a device used in the disassembly and reassembly of the R-9. An instuctional video of how to use the device is posted on youtube.com and can be accessed by clicking the following link, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=58xJ9Fv0P6Y. The device sells for $20 US including shipping and handling. Payment can be made by Paypal. The website is http://sites.google.com/site/slidebloks .

Any answer on PAYPAL question???? also it looks like it is now very easy to take the barrel out without using a tool to hold the spring, did Rohrbaugh change something in the way the R9 was built??? sems you always had to push the guide rod forward hold it and then lift the barrel out..with your video I am confused???tx Gman

David, first of all, welcome to Rohrbaugh Land. I just mailed you a check for the D/R tool. Looks to be a great idea.          Gene

I don't think Rohrbaugh changed anything the spring assembly always came out easy, but was more difficult to reinstall.
You are watching someone who has done that routine many times and has it down pat ;D
By the looks of the grips that is an early R9 and if he had the patent five years ago he must have had the pup, Farmingdale maybe.

David's R9 definitely looks Farmingdale-ish!    :)  Maybe one of the first, custom serial no. and  all.

Has anyone ever heard back from DavidS?  We have posted questions, and i have sent him an email last week, but haven't gotten a response. He came on and made 3 total posts, two being identical announcements of his product. His profile is empty. He hasn't responded to questions about taking paypal. Has anyone received their product?
