Rocnerd - Oh my!!  HOW did I miss this thread?  Well I did - darn it!

Great pics and very nice eye candy.  Good job and some lovely pieces there - glad you could post them for our enjoyment.  Thank you. :)

I posted about this before but - not sure if it was seen by that many.   A while ago on a whim - took a bunch of my stills of handguns and put them into a vid with music - it is already slightly out of date - one new one and another traded for something else but - hey, no collection is static for ever.

One file is a bit smaller than the other to assist dial-up folks.  Also if your media player enlarged just a bit - the text can be made out on most.

Richard - how?

I used a vid editing program - and just placed the stills as a sequence with a finite time of exposure for each - and used a simple fade in/out to transition each - added some music and - that was it!!  Saved as a movie of course.

Yeah, I saw that when you originally posted that and really enjoyed it.  In fact that was what made me finally take some pictures of mine.  Taking a cue from you I used the red background which I think works very well.  The lighting on some of mine were a bit off, but overall I was pleased.  Thanks for the kind words.

How do you decide what to carry?

Dan - haha - spoiled for choice it might seem!  In fact - carry choices are very limited - out of those shown I have carried over time - in order - M85 snub, P95, BHP, M28, SP-101 and finally early this year transitioned to current SIG 226 ST - which will all but stay put now a long time probably - that said I could substitute that with 228 or 220 and still have same manual of arms.  Those two are not in the vid as they ''arrived'' since!

I have in later times carried with CT grips - thus they are on all SIG's, SP-101 and M28 (also actually on a 629!).

I have reached carry stage now where I wish to emulate - ''beware the man with but one gun'' - all the rest are cherished possessions and all get shot periodically - the big cannons are potentially hunting guns too.

Oh I near forgot - yes, I did carry one other for a coupla weeks, when I had a prob with SIG - that was the SW99 - nice compact piece and shoots great but ergonomically rather different.

Biggest problem is finding time to shoot my rifles and carbines ;D

Chris,

You do carry the 9mm Sigs with the 20 round mags?? ;) ;D

The CTs are VERY nice and getting more and more variety!!

Brenden - well the 228 has max 12 IIRC but daily 226 is carried with a 15 - and if a second mag carried that probably another 15 but - but have two 20's and so one of those as spare would be viable - ain't gonna worry if it sticks out after a reload ;D

But yeah well - 20's for actually carry - hummm - bit too projecting  ;) :P

Well, I totally blew my budget and picked this up at the last gun show.  It was very nice for a good price, so couldn't resist.

Roc - beautiful revo - I can but imagine price!!

I am not a Colt fan as much as I am Smith but - I'll bet despite the hole in your pocket book, there is some grinning and fondling going on! ;)

Roc:

That is one beautiful gun!  (I love it when others succumb to temptation.  It makes me feel less guilty.   ;)

That would be a fine candidate for getting back into revolvers.

Beautiful.
