Belt holster
« on: May 02, 2005, 02:23:20 AM »
Does anyone know what size belt the belt holsters on the Rohrbaugh store website are made for?

Is there any benefit to the expensive elephant skin besides the look and the coolness factor?

Jarcher, I would think 1 1/4" belt. Have you thought about the shark?    Tom

I have the speed scabbard (in elephant) and the belt slot is 1.5 inches.

Exotic leather does have a practical value, depending on leather. On a clip-on holster that is completely wrapped in shark or elephant the holster should last a lifetime.

On a speed scabbard that you want to conform a little to the wearer, the holster is faced in the exotic, then the leather serves to protect against abrasion wear.

Oh, yea, I forgot, exotics look cool too.

If you just care about the coolness factor, get a holster that is trimed in exotic leather.
