Doesn’t say but it’s a Robar not stainless. Great price!

With that serial number I do not think it was a factory Robar but I could be wrong.

I agree, probably sent off by the owner. Eric will know!

Looks like it could have NP3 coating, but the Rohrbaugh factory Robars have mirror polish hardware including hammer, trigger, grip screws, and mag release. The one in the pic doesn't look like it has mirror polish hardware.

And I think the serial is before the Robars were introduced.

Someone got a good deal on this Stealth Elite

I wonder why the first one had a bag of .380 springs with it?

I did see that the time and thought maybe it was a Stealth Elite. Someone definitely did well.

That was not a factory Rohrbaugh/Robar. Everything was NP3. Our Robar had some hand polished items on it as accents.
This one, for me, in all NP3 is too boring looking. But that's just me. I like the accent pieces on those models that we did.
This was a nice gun for the money though.
The Stealth Elite seemed legitimate and in nice shape and a good honest price.

Thanks Eric and Phil for clarifying, I appreciated learning the subtle clues that indicated it was not a factory Robar model.

So what was the first one? A knockoff?

Robar used to have gunsmithing and refinishing services where you could send a firearm to be coated in NP3, nickel, Cerakote, etc. So the above gun was probably sent in aftermarket.

Yes Groundhog, the owner sent that R9 in to Robbie Barrkman's place (Robar) to be coated with NP3. Nothing more.
It was not a real Robar/Rohrbaugh. . . . . but, still, a nice R9.
