I was admiring the Buckeye on the Jantz website but don't know much about it otherwise.

Now that is outstanding, for sure!  Just haven't been bitten by the P7 virus, YET!    :D  Could happen, though; any minute!    ;D

Called Top gun and the grade B models were sold out. The lady I was talking to said that they expected more in two weeks. After thinking about it for a couple hours I decided to call them monday AM and commit to buying one. I'm afraid that they might sell out again or raise the prices. At any rate this gives you guys two weeks to decide which charm school I should send it to.  ;D Hope they hurry up and get here, I really need another gun.    Gene

Gene.  Looks like the P7 virus hit you!    ;D  Careful now, you know how it goes; can't have just one.  Seriously, though, congrats on the decision.  It'll be nice.

What am I missing here? Last post was July 30th. And yet, I got an email today, September 23rd! Is there a glitch in the system? It does not normally take a month and a half to reach a member who is following a given string.

ACP:

I don't know what would account for the delay you experienced. My e-mail inbox indicates that notice of your post was received within minutes of your having posted it to the Forum.

Richard,

I am still scratching my head as to why my server alerted me on September 23rd to a post made in July.

Like everyone else, I check the box for strings in which I am interested and/or involved.  I checked my email last night, got a new message regarding a string that had died out for which the last post was July 30th.

I am not nearly as sophisticated as you camera guys or those who place links within your posts. (I am a "querty meister" but I had to give up my blackberry when I moved to a dead zone). I don't know how or why this happened but it did.

Mystery.

ACP,

Same thing happened to me!!

Said that there was a response to the thread.

It's not the first time this has happened either.

The only thing that I could think of is that someone replied, then deleted it??

I try not to think too hard about these things though.. ;)
