Rohrbaugh Factory is Moving!
« on: November 10, 2004, 04:05:17 PM »
The Rohrbaugh Firearms plant in Farmingdale, NY is moving -- very soon -- to an entirely new facility that is much larger.  The new space will allow Karl and Eric to gear up some new equipment and streamline their operations.  Ultimately this change should allow them to seriously crank up the operations and put out guns a lot faster and more efficiently--without sacrificing the quality or craftsmanship a bit.

This change will also give them the space and resources they need to develop additional product lines...   :-X

Hope moving goes well for the Rohrbaugh gang. It's a lot of work, moving machinery, lock stock, and barrel. But when you're successful and bursting out of the walls, it's necessary. Wonder what new exciting things will come out of that facility in addition to R9s and R380s. Whatever it is I feel confident it will be of the highest quality and backed up with great service.

Are they moving to a "red" state or staying in a "blue" state?
The 1938 Nazi Weapons Law is alive and well in the United States, and is called, "The Gun Control act of 1968", and is enforced by the modern day gestapo, known as the BATF.

Will the slide still say Farmingdale, N.Y. or something else now?

By federal law if they move outside of Farmingdale, it will have to change.

>>BTW, folks should know that gun orders may be backlogged until sometime after the '05 Shot Show unless they have already been released to the respective dealers.  My #2 gun was set to arrive in late October and my order got missed by thiiiis much >.<...  If in question it is probably best to call Eric rather than the end line FFL gun stores.  That said, realize the whole crew are working double duty...in the factory by day and painting the new place at night.  Perhaps they would trade the speeding up of an order for some elbow grease at the new digs...???...just a thought - lol...!...TW<<
