Title: holster
Post by: 08055 on October 09, 2011, 10:51:12 PM
I have been carrying my R9s for more than a year and I realized I carry it less on the Nemesis pocket holster and more on the Speed Scabbard.   Is there an IWB hoster for the R9s?

I have a DeSantis IWB for my R9S, the kind with the pouch for the spare magazine stitched into it.

It works well, it was inexpensive, and I use it sometimes.

Though lately, IWB, I have been going G26 and Sidearmor.

I use the DeSantis Nemesis pocket holster more with the pup, and I have a Hedley pocket holster on order.

I purchases a nice horsehide IWB holster from High Noon Holsters. I liked ir so much, I bought two more for my 1911's.
The horsehide costs more, but they look great, feel good close to the body and wear great.

Check out K.L. Null Holsters. I gave him a call and he made one up for my R9s and had it to me in a week. It is a work of art, and very comfortable.

I like nice things but hate bulky leather holsters....Try the Blackhawk #8 which is actually meant for a snubby revolver with an exposed hammer. My stealth fits perfectly in there and its very comfy!

I have a Milt Sparks IWB Summer Special holster for my R9. It works great. It has a small profile.

I finally think I figured out how to insert a photo. Here is the K.L. Null holster that is my primary use holster for my pup. It is very well made and very comfortable; I often forget I have it on. I wear it at about four o'clock on my waist.

Michael:

There appears to be a bracket missing at the end of the link between "JPG" and "/img]" If inserting that bracket does not lead to your iPhoto account, you might open a free account at Photobucket.com and try from there.

This looks like the most comfortable IWB holster for the R9s.     Thanks   :)

Is this the model GBS/gibson covert ?

It is a very comfortable holster, I had it on all day and never thought of it or had to readjust it. The pup is the regular R9s Stealth without a single modification to it. In my opinion, for it purpose, there is no better made pistol.
