Here is a pick of a Python, Smith 586, and a Manurhin posted by a guy from Switzerland over at Colt.

That Python is so easy on the eyes. Hard for anything to compare to it from an aesthetics point of view.

The Swiss guy paid $2000 for the Manurhin several years ago. He says it is by far the smoothest and best built.
That said, he paid less than 1/3 that for the Smith and it shoots as good and is by far the best value of the three.
No comment on the Python. I know my 686 will outshoot my Python.
I did pick up one of the new Pythons and they are a nice gun. I wanted to get one before CZ took over.
I was going to bid on this one tonight but they got too tough for me.
