Christmas in July

Well to my excitement i got a call today to go pick up my new gun at my local Ffl dealer.
I opened the box and there it was R-9s serial # 545  ;D ;D
i drove home as fast as possible while staying within the speed limit  ;) to open the black box and to see it more closely !
What a pistol !!! :o
Craftmanship is outstanding it feels great in my hand, it is as small as a 9mm can get ,the lines of the gun are exceptional.
I have had many great pistols, but i know i will carry this one the most because of size and because i wear a suit 6 days a week. I know it will hide well.
I have a few questions .

1) are PMC's ok for it 115Gr ?
2) how often should it be cleaned ?
3) what is the expected period for break in ?
4) how many rounds can the gun last up to in terms of barell ?
5) what grains gold dots i ordered 115 and 124 wich is better ?
Well i know i am excited and i thank everyone at the Rohrbaugh forum for being so helpfull with all my questions in the past and in the future .
I will post some pics soon so i can share  ;)

If you read the manual it will point you in the right direction for a lot of your questions..

I like the 115 GDs..

Just make sure you lube properly and you should have nothing but FUN.. 8)

BTW-Did this come from AK??

XT - congrats!  Indeed, the manual will tell you most but - go to my FAQ site (link in sig) where you'll find a few extras - slight amplifications in some cases of what the manual says and a few other assorted items.

Break in from my POV is probably a mere 100 rounds - really don't think more is needed.  Either 115 or 124 GD's will do well - look in FAQ site at buttons on left for ammo test data and expansion pics.  I favor the 115 for a slight edge on expansion in wet pack but carry the 124's - cos I have 'em!!!

I would expect the barrel to outlast other aspects of this gun - if we are talking real extremes of useage.

Glad to se you've finally crossed over to the other side. Shoot it,carry it, practice pointing it, sit on the couch and dry fire it at liberals on the TV, have a good time with it and get confident with it! ;D
