Waiting for Rohrbaugh
« on: June 24, 2004, 10:55:27 PM »
While I had the camera out tonight, I decided to take a picture of my large collection of "stuff" waiting patiently for my R-9s to arrive:

From the upper left going clock-wise:

*A "gunshow special" small pistol rug
*K&D Holsters Pocket Defender with "custom" cut
*K&D Holsters pocket mag pouch
*K&D Holsters Belt Defender
*Desantis PM-9 belt mag carrier (found in clearance bin at local gun shop)

Now all I need is a gun!

Duane ... forgive the facetious comparison but ....
Ain't this like the ''expectant father'' - decorating the new crib and baby room .... and adding all the trimmings - ''in readiness''.

It is ain't it?  Eh?  Come on .. own up!!  :P ;D ;D

No doubt it is --- the real question is how much more stuff will add on to this pile before it gets here.

Still on the list of things to get:

A few boxes of Speer Gold Dot 115g FMJ (I wonder why?)
A third magazine
A few extra recoil springs

I am hoping that I am only a month out or so...

Duane,

I like the looks of that pocket holster w/custom cut

Do you have any other pictures w/r9 inside ??

I would also like to see both sides

I can post a close up of both sides later tonight when I get home.  I can't show it with the gun inside yet...   ;)

I may be able to show you a pic of it with the dummy gun inside if K-Man cooperates...

It is a beautifull holster... but I am somewhat biased!

Well never mind... K-Man saw your request and made up a new holster just so you could see the gun in the holster.

Of course, this one is "unfinished" in natural leather so you can see the details better, but its not very pretty like this.

This is sort of an alternate variation of the K&D Pocket Defender -- Kevin will cut it however you want.

Pocketman,

Sure, you can get one done up that way.  The easiest way to order would be through the website, just click on the Pocket Defender on the main page.  You'll then see the ordering info at the bottom of the next page that comes up.  It will walk you through the steps.  Just put your user name from here on RF in the "message" section and that way I will know how you actually want the holster made.

Feel free to send me an email if you have any questions.

Thanks!  8)

Received it today!

Super fast sevice.

I like it, simple/good design and seems to work very well. I will need to use it for a few days in different pants etc. but as of now I am very pleased.

It is nice to be able to have it made to my specs.. IE rough out and unfinished.
