Just received my in the waist band holster and front pocket holster from Jim at Hidden Holsters, both were finished in brown.

He exceeded my wildest expectations!  I have paid twice as much for holster that were not nearly as nice.
I will do my best to have my son post some pictures soon.

Thanks again Jim!

Please give Jim a look at www.hiddenholsters.net, or email him at hiddenholsters@yahoo.com

Sorry Jim I put a dent in the IWB already. Shows I am using it every day.

Jim, what's the best email to reach you at? I tried the sales@ one from your website but wasn't sure if you were still using that one.  I have a question about going with a front pocket or rear pocket holster.  Sometime I put my R9s in my front pocket, and sometimes my rear back pocket depending on what I am wearing.  Which would be better to use for both, ie would a front pocket holster fit better in my rear pocket than a rear pocket holster would in my front pocket? (does that make sense?)

Rather than order two I figured I could just rotate one, but wasn't sure which model to get.  It looks like the difference b/t the two styles is the extra piece of leather sewn on there.  Thanks!!

Is that a 9mm in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?

Nice. I want one I want one.
Looking at the site now. I believe the IWB is number eleven?

Ummmm...some stupid questions........

full stitching $20.00? Please elaborate.

Also, Lined?  Do I need it lined?

Pardon my questions but I'm a holster newbie.

Full stitching, which I prefer, is personal preference.  I don't think inside lining is necessary, however, again, personal taste.   :)    :)

Got a reply from Jim answering our questions about the different options he offers.

Regarding the lining, instead of using a 7oz piece of leather, he bonds two 3.5oz pieces together so that the holster is smooth on both sides.  it makes the draw a little smoother.  His leather is plated, so either choice will not hurt the finish of your gun.

Regarding the full stitching, it is cosmetic only, and does not add to the strength of the holster.  Some people prefer the look of the stitching over the rivits.

He said right now he is about 8-9 weeks out for delivery as of this weekend.  He accepts PayPal, check, and money orders.

I think I'll just go ahead and get the rear pocket version, that way it'll keep from "printing" in my pocket.

Thanks!

You men can't go wrong.  I have both and use both about the same.  The IWB is very easy to ware, you don't know it is there.  The pocket is nice for when I have a shirt that has to be tucked in.  The look and quality is GREAT!  Please practice your draw with them.
Good luck!

FWIW, I had a rivet pop on a very nice holster; the maker sent me
a couple of spares after offering to replace it. I said no thanks
because I didn't want to wait and took it to my shoe cobbler. He
is also very talented and after popping in the new rivet the holster
is better than new.
