Dave:

That's a great looking kitten.  I'm sure he will do much to help your father's house from seeming so empty during this difficult period of transition.

And, "Chuck" -- meet "Titi" and "Tut."  (Just watch out for "Tut" until you're a little older -- he's the gray one and has "a typically bad attitude."

RJ - told my dad before he got Chuck about your (and Larry Seecamp's) love for their cat friends.

Richard - siting on that fancy chair they both look like royalty.

Dave - lovely set of pics and I am certain Chuck will help fill a gap for your dad - and give him considerable pleasure too.  Great idea.

Our ''Chloe" is a cat very adept at making sleep and relaxation into an art form - I may have posted the pic before but - I always chuckle when I see it.

Yesterday saw Bonnie and I out with some good friends for a bike run - regretably the forecast was right and some heavy showers came in on way home - yuk - got pretty wet and worse than that - bike got dirty!  Hate the clean up!!

Anyways - 255 miles all told and we visited Blackwater Falls down in W Virginny - very pretty spot and the sun was kind enough to poke out when I wanted some pics - here is one.  Small falls compared to some but very pretty.

Chris - that picture of Chloe is making me yawn.

There is a picture somewhere at my parents with me as a kid and my dad at Blackwater Falls. During those years my parents couldn't afford vacations that cost too much so we went tenting.  We camped somewhere in that area.  I haven't thought of those falls for years. Thanks for bringing some nice memories to the surface.

That's priceless!  Been there once, rounding a corner on the street of a city caught up in a so-called "people's revolution."  Repeat with apparent enthusiasm the slogans being shouted, work your way with inconspicuous caution to the edge of the crowd, and then execute with all deliberate speed a "tactical retrograde movement."   8)

His nickname was The King.  We now have a female named twister. Her nickname is Evil Kitty.    Dave great picture of the Fox and the Hounds.

Dan:

Wonderful photograph!  Am I correct in thinking that the lovely young lady pictured is your daughter who caught the Mako shark?  That was also a great photo.
