Anyone familiar w. these? I've been thinking that I could use a nice "cowboy" gun.

The best single action made by anyone. ;D All made in Ct and fitted together like Colt did in the 50's. Tom

Howdy - Amen to what Tom said. It's a Colt, without Colt's name on it, and many think - better, especially if you are going to use it.

Well guys, after placing an order on some USFA guns, I was talking with Doug the president, a good friend, and I placed an order for a special engraved single action in .45LC and 4.75" bbl. I think it will look close to the Pony Express gun. I have to thank aglifter for giving me the idea and getting myself into trouble. It will be a first, as I have never bought or sold an engraved gun after all these years. I will find out what RJ knows, its special and really nice. Tom

Tom - Please post pics asap, after it comes in of course.
Gotta see that one!

Reinz, I will of course. Go to their web site and look at the Pony express gun, very similar. ;D Tom

Checked out their website.....very well made stuff. I especially liked the "snub" model. 8)

Here's a link to the pony express gun, Irishguard ordered:

BTW, that sight could get me into a LOT of trouble -- they have some very neat toys...

Tom:
That's a beautiful revolver! Just looking at its photograph makes my right hand itch to hold it.
In the 1970s, I purchased a Blackhawk 357 Magnum 6-1/2" Stainless . . . loved that revolver . . . used to pass some time when no one was around practicing fast draws, spins, and border shifts with it . . . pure fantasy stuff . . . sold it before Cowboy Action Shooting became popular. Selling it was probably a good thing. If I had kept it, I'd probably be into black-powder guns and the whole nine yards of CAS by now. And I need another expensive hobby like I need the proverbial hole in the head -- lame pun intended. ;)
