MECO Split Pocket Holster
« on: February 01, 2011, 04:13:11 PM »
I got a phone call today from Robert saying that he was working on the pup's new holster. Shortly after the phone call, I got an email saying that the holster was finished. How is that for service? Well done, I say! Robert did an excellent job with the holster and it is exactly what I was looking for. The pup is going to be ecstatic when his new outfit arrives. Here is a picture of the holster and I am sure that it will not do the holster justice. Thanks Robert! Another job well done!

I have the split for the Seecamp, works well. Problem is I have a few of MECO's pocket holsters and I get tied up as to which one I use. So far the Batman one wins for the most used. Recently a trip to the SHOT show, I used a rear pocket MECO holster for my Seecamp and an RJ Hedley front pocket for the R-Nine.

Art.  How do you take a Seecamp and an R9 on a plane to the Shot Show?  Just curious.

Not answering for Art, however, you don't take them on the airplane but they can be checked if they are identified as such.

So you can have them checked, if identified, with your luggage?

Thanks.  I never knew that.  I could have googled it, but didn't think of it.  Thanks again; that is great to know.

Needless to say but things have changed a lot in the past years. A friend of mine told me he flew in a Lockheed Constellation with a Captain in 1965 who would open his sliding window and take target practice on jack rabbits with his Colt revolver while waiting for take off at Long Beach airport.
