Title: Hogue Extreme Grips
Post by: sslater on July 22, 2009, 08:29:34 PM: I finally got around to shooting my R9s with the Hogue Extreme Grips a second time. (My black Carbon Fiber original grips are "resting" in the safe.)

Conclusion:
The Hogue units make the gun noticeably more controllable. I say that because I realized after two range sessions that the gun didn't try to squirm around in my hand. Not that I had much complaint with the C.F. grips, but I found I was hitting better with the Hogues on the gun.

Guess I'll leave the Hogues on - for now. Or until the "next great thing" comes along.... ;D

I just received my hogue extreme grips last week and have not had a chance to get out but I really like what I feel in these grips. If I had CF grips they would be on the shelf because practical use rather than pretty suits me just fine.

Well, you spent that much on the pistol, right ... you deserve the better grip! In the case that you have any difficulties with the fit, do NOT contact H; my experience there left a lot to be desired. On the other hand, Maria is a sweetheart and takes her job - to provide superior CS - very seriously. Thank you to her for helping me get my H issues resolved.

Post by: birdman on February 10, 2010, 10:21:40 PM: I have the Hogue extreme grips on both my Rohrbaughs. I can't really compare them to the original grips as I haven't tried them. I ordered the Hogues for the .380 while I was waiting for it to show, and Maria(aka Wonder Woman) had the new grips installed on the 9mm before it left the factory. Anyway to get back on subject, I do like the grips very much! The 9mm stays where it was before the shot and my little sweetie, the .380 just doesn't move at all. They even look better! Gene
