SOLD##For Sale Early Farmingdale, Blue Grips
« on: April 22, 2011, 12:49:24 AM »
For Sale is a Farmingdale, serial number R149, with blue grips, case, two mags, and manual.  It is the Rohrbaugh I bought here from this forum in the summer of 2009.  The original link and photos are here:
Original Link. This beautiful piece has no sights, which makes it even more uncommon.
I paid $1400 plus $25 shipping, and that is the exact asking price. The pistol has been carefully handled since I have owned it and I have not fired the gun since I purchased it, as I have other Rohrbaughs for that purpose.  It has been very enjoyable to own this early Rohrbaugh, but with three kids in college..... Will ship from my FFL dealer to yours.  The Farmie is located in Tucson, in case anybody lives in Arizona and wants a local sale.

I think it was a typo. It should be a FARMINGDALE.

Hello from another Tucson R9 owner!  I live in the NE part of the city, about a mile NW of the intersection of Tanque Verde and Sabino Canyon Road.

Man I would have purchased this if I hadnt already ordered my covert just a few hours before your posting.

Would have never thought I could find one in AZ. I'm in Phoenix.

This was an excellent price for a early model.  I like the all stainless model look vs the two tone.

Don't get me wrong, I love my all black covert.

Good sale, and a good buy.

If I could only buy one, I'd definitely choose the Covert over the Farmingdale.  Congrats on getting a fantastic weapon!

Nothing like a Farmingdale, however, I understand your point.  I had the choice, and chose a Farmingdale.  Love those Blue Carbon Fiber grips.  For me, it was the right decision.  For others,..............go for what you like; and that Covert is nice.
