Great idea - I hope someone will assist JB with his mission!

But, Jack, you don't need both Seecamp holsters - I'm trading the R9 back pocket with the mag carrier for either one of the Seecamp front pocket holsters.  I actually use a back pocket style rig (in Kydex) as a front pocket holster for my R9, but I'm looking for something a little smaller for the Seecamp.  Thanks for looking!

New to the Board and am leaning towards an R9s in addition to my Seecamp .32 I saw your post about the kydex back pocket use for the R9s. What make and model is it?

I also like back-pocket rigs in the front as they print less (IMO) - even in the .32

Thanks,
Ken

PS - I am looking to either acquire a .380 Seecamp or the Rohrbaugh. Yes, I know, the Seecamp is impossible to find - but I've also read that one needs a box of band-aids when shooting the .380 - for this reason I am leaning more towards the R9s which is more readily available not to mention its bigger punch.

Welcome to the Forum.

My advice -- buy both! After all, we only go around once.

KENU:  I agree with you regarding the much-reduced printing when using a back-pocket style holster for front pocket carry.  I've had very good luck with the FIST K5 (http://www.fist-inc.com/holsters/k1/k5.htm), to which I've added a slight arched (heat-formed) Kydex panel, attached (rivet or stitch) to the lower flange on the barrel side.  This is a highly concealeable, no-print rig - but be aware that Kydex is tough on annodized finishes.

Indeed I do know what you mean. The lady to whom I have the great good fortune now to be married is a real keeper.

That being said, here's a plan. Get the Seecamp, have a pair of old ivory grips made for it, and then gracefully permit your beloved wife to "requisition" it as her own -- with her own monogrammed holster thrown in as an added touch. All of that should pave the way rather well for the acquisition of your own R9.  (It worked for me.  8) )

Richard,

If Gucci, Chanel, etc made guns she'd have a closet full of 'em, like she has of everything else they make - plus some. Otherwise, guns aren't her thing.

I must compliment you on the ivory grips on the Seecamp. I just may make the move on those for the .32 Seecamp I own. Where might I find those?

The Hedley's you guys keep posting are gorgeous but very frustrating at the same time knowing that they are virtually unobtainable from this gentleman.

How are you able to get these holsters, other then finding them used?

Thanks
