Forum Rules and Decorum
« on: October 30, 2005, 10:52:59 PM »
Just a reminder to all members, that off-color or otherwise questionable comments and humor will be deleted.

I hope you all will not think this prudish or overly politically correct on my part, but I am trying to maintain family friendly standards on the board.  Everything that is posted here has my name associated with it in some way, so I get to make the call.

More importantly, we are closely associated with the movement to support the Second Amendment and our laundry is posted here in public.  I would never want discriminatory or improper behavior or motives associated with our support of the cause--whether such a characterization would be fair or not.

Sorry if these impedes anyone's style, but this forum is about Rohrbaugh Firearms.  The rest of the stuff follows along because we have built a nice web community here.  But, I have to draw a line at times.  I know that a lot of you feel the same way because I have gotten your mail and PMs supporting this type of moderation.

If you want to buy me a beer and exchange jokes and tall tales, lets do it -- but lets not post them here if they are at all questionable.

Thanks!

It's better to be safe than sorry.

Thank you for maintaining such high standards.

Duane (DDGator),
I second that. Thanks for running such a "respectful" forum.

Hope is wasn't I who said anything off color, cause we are real
men here and mauve and teal are off limits. Those are off colors
and trust me, you don't want to even SEE them, let alone remark
about them;^)

Now, On Color, that would be the north Georgia Mountains right now.
Would be nice in a red convertible right now. But NOOOOOO... Wife would notice if I came home with one and it was in our garage;^)
Should I sell the guns, guitars, knives, and buy a Porsche?

The tea leaves tell me you are bringing us down by reminding
us every time you post that we will die, and it won't be pretty.

How about a cheerful reminder from now on;^) Then the leaves
be jammin;^)

Big time LOL!!

Fret not Calvin..   For alas, ...it was I

I have been rightfully chastised, and brought forward into the light.

I will speak of cracks, scratches and FTF from this point on.

I wondered who stumbled.

Still, you are a great holster maker, and a mighty fine poster, indeed.

Now, RJ, while it is an honorable thing for you to offer up yourself as a sacrifice for the rest of us, you're supposed to consult with your attorney before entering a plea of guilty to any charge.   ;)

Richard
I thought it may have been you, [Brutus] that dropped a dime on me for all those "Lawyer jokes" I have been known to Post. :D

I own up to this charge, but I think some may need to see the humor in a joke, unless it's tied to a brick, and came through the window..
