One45 - I definitely understand your frustration, since I am in the same boat.
At first it bothered me that no phone number could be found as well. But after reading more on the website and seeing that it is a one man operation, I came to understand.
Most of us "gun people" are a talkative bunch, even the manufacturers. If this guy posted his phone number, customers would be calling him so much, he would not have any time to make holsters at all. I know I would call him wanting to discuss a custom this, a custom that.....
And actually, "no phone policy" is not uncomon in the industry as well as some gunsmiths. Right off the bat, Thad Rybka Holsters only deals by mail only, period. And I have heard of others.
Now, there is NO EXCUSE for not replying to e-mails.
My bottom line, I'm going by faith, knowing he is a one man shop, in high demand. And his work is recommended by forum members.
I have a leather order with another maker that is going almost a year now, which is common for him as well. and he is a one man shop.
I think if you can be patient, which is hard when you don't agree with his business practices, it will be worth the wait.
