Your opinion please!
« on: May 22, 2007, 09:57:31 PM »
I recently acquired my CCDW license and am ready to take the next step of acquiring a R9S.  I have spent a lot of time reading on this forum and have narrowed down the choices of holsters.  I would appreciate your opinions on which setup I should choose.  My method of carry has to take into consideration my daily attire of dress slacks and a button down dress shirt.
Option # 1 Graham Fiddleback pocket holster with the "pop-top" Graham holster as an alternative.
Option # 2 Graham Zulu holster that doubles as pocket carry or belt attached holster.
I would truly appreciate your input and advice.  This will be my first carry gun and holster setup.

I use the DeSantis Nemisis pocket holster.  Very pleased as the holster and R9 stay in the pocket, but the R9 slides very smoothly and quickly out of the pocket with the holster staying firmly in the pocket. :) :)

jecrhrbgh:

Welcome to the Forum and congratulations on your decision to acquire one of the R9s.

I carry my R9 in a Hedley Holster. RJ is "on sabbatical" right now and is not accepting new orders for a while. Ron Graham offers a number of excellent designs through his Pale Horse Holsters web site:

Steller Rigs also offers some interesting carbon fiber laminate holsters for the R9:

Thanx Richard S.

We actually make three Kydex Holsters for the R9.  The Carbon Fiber Laminate is the "Hi-End"model
