R45 Delays = New Ideas?

 I will start by saying I am no engineer, just an armorer. I have never shot a .38 super and really don't know much about it. I have shot and carried a .40 for almost 17 years now. The slide speed seems much faster that a .45 ACP and it has a very snappy recoil. I have owned and sold a MK40 and a PM40 and I really did not like either. I would buy a larger caliber Rohrbaugh in a heart beat! I would like it to be 45 ACP because as posted, you can get the ammo anywhere. However, I would settle for 45 GAP if that works best for the R brothers.
 I can't think of a larger caliber than the 9mm other than the ACP or the GAP that might really be a huge benefit

 Just my penny and a half!

Since the R9 isn't rated for +P or +P+ going with a more powerful caliber may not be a great idea.
