factory plastic gun case....

at what point did they change from the egg crate to the lazer cut foam to "cradle" the gun?i have seen several diffrent options also diffrent color locks from the factory....black in color and some in a redish orange also? thanks in advance...

The question makes sense, sorry I can't answer it for you. I can tell you my R9 was purchased in late 2011 and it is the laser cut case. I did have to wait for Tom W. to get it in when I ordered it as it had to be manufactured.

I recall seeing cutout cases in the late 5000s-early6000s.
Thought they looked cool but my old pups are fitted just fine in the "old" version!!

As with other R Bros things,pinning down an exact time frame to changes is a bit wonky.
