Amazing Shotgun Shooting

The following video was done by Beretta.  

It is the most amazing demonstration of shotgun shooting I have ever seen.

If you have a high speed connection view the "high resolution version" - easier to see the targets.

Funny thing is Dave - I feel compelled to run this - over and over - trying to see each time just how he does it!!!

Some of the ''casual'' shots are all but ridiculous in appearance but - then you see the target gets busted!

I would like to shoot this shotgun to see for myself if it is possible to shot it one handed and hit something.

my suspicion is that he had to be using some pretty light loads -- and certain things were obviously "exaggerated" -- natural pointability comes from fit to the individual -- I was amazed the first time I just held a "fitting gun"  Haven't gotten my custom one yet -- should have it in time for Dove season next fall -- Have to love turkish CNC machines and walnut trees.

The Winchester AA low recoil, low noise shells work just fine in my Beretta 391 and break clays well.  I use them when letting the kids shoot trap and skeet.  I usually use the light or extra light loads to save my shoulder some pounding since once I start shooting I don't want to stop because it is so much fun.  100-200 rounds in a session adds up to a sore shoulder the next day no matter what ammo I am using.

A friend of mine shoots skeet and sporting clays 2-3 times a week. Since he is old, he shoots a 28 gauge and .410 in skeet and a 20 gauge in sporting clays. He says it really makes a difference on an old shoulder.

I just saw that video.  Wow!  

With my recently reconstructed right shoulder, I had assumed that my days of serious 12-guage shooting were probably over.  However, with one of those low-recoil Berettas, there may be hope for me after all.

Now thats some fancy shooting. I've watched some Tom Knapp videos. He seems to work from the bottom up. This guy seems to work from the top down. But my hats off to both of them. Dan
