Themes from the SHOT Show
« on: January 26, 2015, 10:11:09 AM »

A few themes I picked up on a the Show this year, as related to handguns:

-- More threaded barrels for suppressors

-- More slides pre-cut and drilled for installation of red dot optics

-- More porting of barrels

-- Less thumb safeties

-- More variety of colors and finishes

Honestly, nothing too mind blowing.  Very little in the way of revolvers, other than from Ruger.

Thanks Duane, I certainly did not see anything in the ads or blogs that interested me.

Well stink. I guess you can only flood the market with so many pocket 9's and 380's.

Thanks for the update.
War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse.

John Stuart Mill
English economist & philosopher (1806 - 1873)
