What comes with the R9s?  Does it come with a second magazine?  Any disassembly tool?

According the the Rohrbaugh website, each comes with a plastic hard case, two magazines, and a cable lock.

Each gun is also test fired by either Eric or Karl before leaving the factory.

The above is consistent with what I received. A couple of states may require fired shell casings. I am not sure if the Rohrbaugh is sold in those state(s).

Glad to see that it comes with an appropriately sized lockable hard case.  That will make airline travel nice and convenient -- won't take up much room in my checked baggage!

I currently pack my P-3AT in a lockable case that would hold a full-size service pistol....what a pain.

That's an idea--a very, very small airline luggage box. Smaller than the hard case, and sold in pairs to store the gun in one and mags and ammo in the other. Maybe drawn metal construction. Something for Rohrbaugh to consider as an after market "on-line store" item.

Actually, the plastic works fine.  And, I keep the ammo with the pistol in the same case -- just insure that the pistol is unloaded (Delta's policy only allows one gun case in your checked baggage -- with up to two pistols and 11 lbs. of ammunition).  Ammunition should be carried in it's retail packaging.

Usually, I take the P-3AT with one box of ammunition.  In colder weather, when concealability for larger weapons is easier -- the P-3AT is carried along with my HK P7.

Of all the times I have flown with a firearm, I have only had serious difficulty with the gate agents one time -- in Tampa, shortly  after 9/11.  To make things easier, I now carry a printed copy of Delta's firearm policy and a copy of the TSA's policy/guidelines for the transportation of firearms on commercial aircraft in my briefcase.  At times, there have been questions with inexperienced airline personnel -- having the written policy in hand made resolution easier.

No, George, you are wrong.  They are brothers -- Eric has told me so.

Thank you Duane, I stand corrected.
