P7 is a great piece to add to any collection!
I used mine as my winter EDC for quite a while, now it is a 1911.

My P7M8 was done in HC by Tripp.

I have not shot or carried it in quite some time but I would not even consider selling it.

They are no longer making them from what I understand so stock up on mags as they will go up in price over time.

Anyother good sight for HK info and a message boards is HKPro.com

Many of us P7 fanatics consider the Chantilly, VA marked pistols to be the preferred examples -- but any P7 (even the German police trade-ins) will be high quality.
I'm not a gun expert -- but I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night...
