Preaching to the choir a bit, but a good article for dealing w. the hoplophobes -- OK, they're not technically phobic...

Trying to reason with people assumes they are willing to listen to you.  If they do listen - you've already won half the battle.

Most of the anti-gun people I've run into seem to be completely illogical.  Most are so fearful of what they would do if they had guns that they cannot believe you can be trusted.  That's what the psycho-babblers call PROJECTION.  Don't waste your breath on that type.  
Other anti-gunners have never been personally exposed to firearms.  You can educate that type.  Maybe even take them out in the woods and do a little plinkin' with a .22 rifle or Ruger Mk II pistol (or similar).  It's worth the effort when you see the smile on their faces after they hit a soda can at 25 yards.

Yes, it works fine.  The first URL ended with PD, instead of PDF, but I did not notice it.

I'm envious of your critter creek place.  Just love the woods.  As soon as I get rich, I just might buy forty acres of rolling woods, and have a target range.

I've been cleaning my new USP .45 full size.  It was amazingly easy to put back together.  Even easier than my Glock that was traded away.

I'm waiting to see if RJ still comes out with his new tool.

The brass material was delivered to the Machine shop this AM.   Maybe I will have a Demo ready to show later this week.     The tool will make Childs Play out of re- installing the Spring assembly.   It is a very simple tool, just the original Take Down  *Stop Stick* with a  slot in the widest end.  The Spring assembly is partly compressed and the Tool inserted.  Then using the Tool as a handle, insert the Spring Assembly into it's place with a slight push of the thumb.

That Rage file is well worth reading and archiving.

BTW - Adobe Reader is now version 7.2 or 7.5 IIRC - do a search anyone and get the free upgrade.

This was the link for my Windows XP, but it looks like you can change the operating system version.
