Kimber Elite Carry vs. Rohrbaugh R9s
« on: October 07, 2008, 12:40:12 AM »
If you owned a Kimber Elite Carry in .45 and a Rohrbaugh R9s and had to sell one, which one would you keep and why? I am leaning to keeping the R9s because for a carry gun, the Kimber is too bulky to carry. Please let me know your thoughts.

i wouldnt sell either one

If you get a good holster for your 1911 it wont feel as bulky i carry a commander sized 1911 with no problem i also have a officers size 1991A1 colt which is easier to carry

now after carrying a seecamp .32 and the R9  both with covertcarrier panels the 1911'a feel huge and bulky to me also

with the covert carrier panels i dont need a holster so just strapping a holster to my belt feels bulky now. but after a few days you get use to the bigger gun again
